SRH vs RCB Betting Predictions

These SRH vs RCB betting predictions should help you make an informed decision when you play with some of the best IPL betting sites.

  • Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore have met each other 22 times in the IPL so far, with SRH winning 12, RCB winning 9, and one ending in a no result.
  • While nowhere close to their peak form, RCB is in much better shape than SRH, especially in terms of batting. Faf, Maxwell, and Kohli are picking up runs with fair ease, and the bowlers are doing a decent job as well. On the other hand, SRH had a disastrous season, with the team in the ninth spot on the table and now out of contention for the playoffs.
  • The Hyderabad track is a belter of a track where batters can make merry once they are set. Chances are the toss-winning captain will want to bat first and pile on runs on this wicket.
  • Historically, teams batting second have won 39 of the 70 matches played here at this stadium. However, this season, the team batting second has lost four of the six matches played here.
CBA PREDICTS

The SRH outfit is running a lost race. With no chance of reaching the playoffs, the team’s morale will be at an all-time low. A dampened mindset aside, the team has managed to win just one of the six matches at home, underscoring a rather sorry state of affairs. RCB, on the other hand, has still got a lot to lose; their top-order batters are in good shape, and their playoff hopes are still alive. At CBA, we are backing the Royal Challengers Bangalore to win this match.

SRH vs RCB Team News

Sunrisers Hyderabad

  • The decision to let go of players like David Warner, Kane Williamson, and Rashid Khan came back to haunt SRH this season, with the side putting up one of their most disappointing performances this time.
  • No major changes are expected in their playing XI.
SUNRISERS HYDERABAD PROBABLE XI

Aiden Markram (c), Heinrich Klaasen (wk), Abhishek Sharma, Rahul Tripathi, Abdul Samad, Sanvir Singh, Marco Jansen, Mayank Markande, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Fazalhaq Farooqi, T Natarajan

Royal Challengers Bangalore

  • RCB has once again put itself in a tough spot to make it to the playoffs. The team needs to win all its remaining games, and that too comprehensively, to keep the NRR high.
  • No major changes are expected in their playing XI.
ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE PROBABLE XI

Faf du Plessis (C), Dinesh Karthik (wk), Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, Mahipal Lomror, Anuj Rawat, Karn Sharma, Mohammad Siraj, Michael Bracewell, Harshal Patel, Shahbaz Ahmed

SRH vs RCB Key Players

Sunrisers Hyderabad

  • Heinrich Klaasen

The South African has 326 runs under his belt, and he's been hitting at 172.49, which is excellent. If the RCB bowlers don't get him out early, Klaasen could make lives difficult for Siraj and Co on this lightning-quick outfield.

  • Rahul Tripathi

Rahul Tripathi's ability to get his team off to a flying start at the top of the order is much valuable. While his strike rate at 128.35 is average, his contribution will assume all the more significance, considering the lackluster performance of the opening duo.

  • Bhuvneshwar Kumar

The most experienced bowler in the SRH squad, Bhuvi has taken the most wickets on the Hyderabad wicket (40 scalps for SRH so far) at a decent economy rate of 7.5-8. If he gets into his rhythm early, Bhuvneshwar’s in-swingers can sound the death knell for RCB batters sooner than later.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

  • Faf du Plessis

With a phenomenal average touching 57.00 and a strike rate of 154.27, Faf has proven to be RCB’s MVP by consistently piling on the runs for his team. On a belter of a pitch like Hyderabad, expect him to go wild and take his 631-run tally higher!

  • Glenn Maxwell

Better late than never is what aptly defines Maxwell’s performance. After three matches with single-run scores, the Aussie hit two half centuries (54 and 68) in the last two matches striking at 180+ (the highest strike rate in RCB and fifth-highest overall this season).

  • Harshal Patel

Famous for his deceptive slow balls, Harshal Patel has the record of taking the highest wickets against RCB (8), with 3/33 being his best spell against them. However, he does tend to leak runs at times, and his economy rate of 9.94 is something that he will need to check.
