Wreaking havoc with his partner-in-crime, Travis Head, Abhishek has scored 401 runs in 12 matches while maintaining an unbelievable strike rate of 205.64. Expect to see him bring out the fireworks against GT from the get-go!

• Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Bhuvi is a brilliant new-ball bowler who is equally competent in outwitting batters at the death. He did not have the best of starts in the IPL this season, but now he has slowly found his groove back with a couple of memorable spells in the last few matches. His tally of 11 wickets from 12 matches does not do justice to the current form he is in.

• Shubman Gill

Shubman Gill has been one of the few promising aspects for GT in an otherwise forgettable IPL campaign. Mohit has largely had an inconsistent season, to say the least. He along with Rashid Khan and Umesh Yadav’s failure to take wickets have been the major reason behind GT’s disastrous campaign this year. However, when on song, Mohit Sharma can be a tricky customer to deal with owing to his smart variations in pace.
