DC vs SRH Betting Predictions

These DC vs SRH betting prediction pointers below should help you make an informed decision when you bet with any of the best IPL online betting sites.

  • DC and SRH have faced each other 22 times, with both teams winning an equal number of times. In their first encounter this season, DC pipped SRH at the post by seven runs.
  • In these two teams' last five outings, DC has won all. However, in the last five games at the Arun Jaitley stadium, SRH has won four of them.
  • SRH and DC are both languishing at the bottom of the table.
  • The pitch is dry and will favour the new-ball bowlers early on, and as the match progresses, batting should become easier.
  • Teams batting second have won 43 of the 79 IPL games played here. This season, teams batting second have won all the matches played so far at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. So we expect the captain who wins the toss to bowl first.
CBA Predicts

Yes, both teams are struggling to perform. However, DC has shown intent in their last two matches and has bounced back, winning both games. SRH, on the other hand, is riddled with problems, the most urgent being their inconsistent batting, which has yet to deliver and has cost the team three consecutive defeats. Keeping that in mind, we at CBA are backing the Delhi Capitals to win this match.

DC vs SRH Team News

Delhi Capitals

  • Delhi is still in the race for the playoffs, but a rather difficult one we must say. They need to win six of their remaining seven games to qualify.
  • David Warner has finally come good with his captaincy, winning two games back to back. But he’s nowhere close to his peak with the bat.
  • We don’t expect any changes in their playing XI compared to their last game vs SRH in Hyderabad.
Delhi Capitals Probable XI

David Warner (C), Phil Salt (wk), Mitchell Marsh, Manish Pandey, Axar Patel, Aman Khan, Ripal Patel, Anrich Nortje, Kuldeep Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Sarfaraz Khan, Mukesh Kumar (IP)

Sunrisers Hyderabad

  • The Sunrisers Hyderabad are battling inconsistent performances, especially from Heinrich Klaasen and Mayank Agarwal, who were brought in with massive expectations.
  • In a rather massive jolt for the team, all-rounder Washington Sundar has taken to the bench after suffering a hamstring injury.
  • On the batting front, SRH's hopes are tied to Aiden Markram, Rahul Tripathi, and Mayank Agarwal, who can use the short boundaries at the Arun Jaitley Stadium to their advantage.
Sunrisers Hyderabad Probable XI

Aiden Markram (C), Heinrich Klaasen (wk), Mayank Agarwal, Harry Brook, Abhishek Sharma, Marco Jensen, Mayank Markande, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umran Malik, T Natarajan, Mayank Dagar

DC vs SRH Key Players

Delhi Capitals

  • David Warner

Despite not being in the best of form, Warner is the highest runscorer for the team, with 306 runs at a strike rate of 119.53 this season. The team will hope and pray that the pocket dynamite gets back to his marauding best sooner than later.

  • Axar Patel

The all-rounder’s batting responsibilities increased with Rishabh Pant and Rovman Powell out of the picture. Yes, he does not have much experience batting at this venue, but he’s currently the second-highest runscorer for his team (182 runs at a strike rate of 135.82). He even has six wickets to his name, and the Delhi wicket will give him a good chance to add more wickets to his tally.

  • Kuldeep Yadav

The chinaman bowler has seven wickets under his belt this season and a commendable economy of just 6.95. He along with Axar Patel should get ample of assistance from the Delhi wicket.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

  • Mayank Agarwal

The Sunrisers batters have all cut a sorry picture this season, but the only pale silver lining in the otherwise giant cloud of misery is Mayank Agarwal. He’s the highest runscorer of his team so far this season (164 runs), but he has to step on the gas if the Sunrisers have to keep any hopes alive of winning this return leg.

  • Bhuvneshwar Kumar

The highest wicket taker against the Capitals, Bhuvi's tight line-and-length bowling is one of those few things SRH can count on. While he has not taken many wickets this season, Bhuvi has a decent record in Delhi. Of the four matches that he has played against DC in Delhi ever since he joined SRH in 2013, Kumar has taken four wickets without leaking too many runs.

  • Mayank Markande

With eight wickets and an economy of just 6.70, the 24-year-old leg spinner has got everyone’s attention with his googlies. At spin-friendly pitches like Delhi, he can prove to be the vital cog that helps SRH steal a victory.
