UEFA Europa League 2021 Tips & Predictions
As is the norm for European football club competitions, the teams best placed to win the event hail from the biggest and richest domestic leagues. As such, it isn’t a surprise to see that the online bookmakers have put clubs from England, Italy, Germany and Spain at or near the top of the Europa League betting market. Tottenham are having a very good season domestically, second in the English Premier League three points behind Liverpool. With fire power provided by the likes of Gareth Bale, Harry Kane and Heung-min Son, the threat from Spurs is very real.
Few teams in Europe can match AC Milan for prestige, however, and with their emerging crop of young talent, will definitely be a side that teams will want to avoid. At 25.00, the claims of Real Sociedad, second in La Liga while we write this, cannot possibly be ignored. Manchester United have dropped out of the UEFA Champions League and, despite looking distinctly out of shape, have enough in their armoury to worry opponents. Speaking of armoury, Arsenal are also in the hunt although are currently experiencing their worst start to a season in 40 years and, it would appear, are to be given the widest of swerves.
Popular Bets for the UEFA Europa League
Europa League betting comes in many forms. Make no mistake, this is a very varied betting market which you can find on all the best football betting sites. In that respect, it is very similar to betting on the best cricket betting sites. There are all manner of Europa League bets that punters can place and all of them great.
Outright Europa League Betting
The most obvious form of Europa League betting. Which team will win the Europa League this season? If you think you know, or merely have a hunch, then this bet is perfect for you. This is because all this bet requires in order to make a payout is for your pick to win the Europa League come May. It really isn’t any more complicated than that.

Leading Goal Scorer in the Europa League Betting
Every single year, one player will outscore all others in the competition and win that tourney’s golden boot. A few betting tips might help you successfully predict which player that will outscore his rivals on this particular season. On many occasions, the player that top scores will be an obvious selection, but other times new names can emerge in which case the betting margins can be huge.

Group Stage Winner of the UEFA Europa League Betting
Because this competition begins with a group stage, bettors have the Europa League betting opportunity to make wagers on which teams will finish on top of the individual group or groups. Sometimes these should be very easy to call, if one team is clearly vastly superior to all of the others. Other times, teams will be more even in terms of skill and ability so this could be a tougher prediction to make. Either way, the bet is simple, pick a team that you think will win the group, and if they do your bet will payout.

Match Winner in the Europa League Betting
Quite simply, this bet is a bet on a team to win their match in a Europa League campaign. So, if two teams, let’s say Feyenoord of Holland and England’s Tottenham have been drawn against each other at some point of the tournament, be it group phase, knockout rounds or the final, then punters such as yourself have the opportunity to make a wager on which team emerges from the contest victorious. If betting on a knockout round match, or matches if you are doing an accumulator, just make sure that you stipulate whether you are betting on 90 minutes or you have factored in the possibility of extra time or even penalties. In the same way that you might bet in-play on the cricket, this is a good live betting market.

Tournament Structure for the UEFA Europa League
The Europa League, as it is known today, is Europe’s secondary club competition. Running in coherence with the European football season, a new campaign begins each September and culminates in a final each May at a predetermined neutral venue. While the European Champions League is for the ultimate performers of the previous season, the Europa League ranks one prominence lower.
Qualification for the event is based on the previous season’s performance but will vary from federation to federation. Usually though, for the major European leagues (Spain’s La Liga, Germany’s Bundesliga, Italy’s Serie A and England’s Premier League) it means a high finish, around fifth and lower, domestic cup victors and pre-qualifiers, which is often how minor league entrants gain access. European football also goes on a hiatus over the extreme winter months of December and January. Resuming in February, clubs that have been knocked out of the Champions League also join the UEFA Europa League at this later stage.
The league itself, as of 2008, begins with a group stage of 12 groups of four teams from which the top two progress to the next round which takes place upon February’s resumption. From there, four more rounds of traditional knockout football are staged in order to whittle down the teams to a final two. These two will compete against each other in a one leg match in, what is likely to be, a neutral venue in May. The winner of the final will become that season’s Europa League champions and, as a bonus, be entered into the following season’s UEFA European Champions League.

History of the UEFA Europa League
After the demise of the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup in 1971, the UEFA Cup was launched as an alternative to the UEFA Champions League, which itself was then called simply the European Cup. The first ever final of the UEFA Cup was an all English affair between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur, with the trophy going to the latter. The following season, Liverpool, also from England, won the UEFA Cup to keep the cup in the UK.
When UEFA did away with the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1999, the entrants of the former tourney were permitted entry to the UEFA Cup. By the 2004/05 season, the former knockout structure was also changed, and a group stage added to the opening phase of the competition. Consequently, the tourney was rebranded as the Europa League in an effort to draw it closer to the wildly successful Champions League.

CricketBettingAdvice Final Say Final Say
The UEFA Europa League is the successful rebranding of the UEFA Cup which itself displaced the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup. Today, it has evolved into a behemoth of a pan-Euro football competition, second only to the mega European Champions League, also administered by UEFA, the European football federation. While Europe’s biggest teams and the world’s biggest stars generally showcase their skills in the more prominent of the two European club tournaments, the Europa League generally has a more level playing field which helps keep Europa League betting exciting and Europa League bettors on their toes.
